It seems like a
crime to have a first grader, who has been held back 3 times, because no one
will help him learn his phonics. Or to see children who think that the
“The Little Steam Engine” is a Bible story. After attending a S.A.Y. Yes! Center
last spring the first grader made it to second grade this fall.
S.A.Y. Yes!
Centers for Youth Development were developed to
reach out to inner city children
who are at risk of dropping out of society. The goal is to help
children learn basic intellectual,
spiritual and social skills that will enable them to become the men
and women God wants them to be, fulfilling His plan for them.
Eph. 2:10 -
For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works,
which God prepared in advance for us to do.
