Here’s Life
Inner City, Bakersfield is working faithfully to foster
change and bring hope to distressed communities. This starts with a
stable institution within the inner city, the church, and ends as a
movement—a movement sensitive to the needs of its community, empowered
by the Holy Spirit, and energized by a unified body of Christ.
Here’s Life Inner City is a ministry committed to
addressing the needs of the whole person: body, soul, and spirit. It is
inspired by the Great Commission — the challenge to evangelism — and
also by the Great Commandment — to love your neighbor as yourself.
In communities where people know only hopelessness,
we partner with inner city churches and ministries to build a “circle
of hope.”
