Homeless Care Kits are a plastic laundry type bag stuffed with winter supplies for the homeless.. There will be some type of Christian outreach material included, which may vary from a tract to a Bible to a Four Spiritual Laws booklet. They are given out to the homeless by Ministry Partners, HLIC staff, and volunteers in the beginning or middle of the winter.

Each Homeless Care Kit contains the following items:

• Plastic or Cloth laundry style bag

• Blanket (may be wool or space blanket)

• Gloves

• Wool socks

• Hat

• Scarf

• Hygiene items (toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.)

• Bible, tract, church invitation and other Christian outreach material

A City Mission soup kitchen provides hot soup for the stomach and food for another day.

         The Homeless Care Kits provide a warm blanket and eternal hope for the soul.
