| Why KFABI? A staggering number of children and adults are directly affected when a loved
one is arrested, detained, and convicted of a crime. Over-shadowed by anxiety,
fear, and uncertainty, these families are often shoved further into crisis by
the economic and social woes accompanying this predicament. Children,
especially, suffer shame and some even face displacement, having to live with
relatives or friends, or worse yet, in foster homes or county youth facilities.
Fragmented lives ...dimmed futures. They are often .
Those in prisons are often reached and discipled by caring churches and trained volunteers.
The families
that are left behind, the unseen victims
of crime, are often neglected.
They, too. need spiritual and tangible renewal through the compassionate
outreach of the local church.
